Like last year, Austrian Airlines will operate seasonal Vienna – Tokyo Narita service between April 1 and October 26, 2025. The route will operate four to five times a week as follows:

  • OS51 / Vienna – Tokyo Narita / 1:30PM – 8:50AM+1 / Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun1
  • OS52 / Tokyo Narita – Vienna / 11:10AM – 6:25PM / Mon1, Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun

1 Fifth weekly rotation scheduled to operate between May 4 and October 13, 2025.

Austrian will use Boeing 777-200ER aircraft on the route, which it operates with 330 seats on board including 32 in business, 40 in premium economy, and 258 in economy class.

While the airline used to operate a year-round service on the route until September 2016, it then suspended the route until mid-2018, when it turned it seasonal. Following a pandemic-related suspension, Austrian resumed operating the route during the summers from 2021, initially with frequency limited to two weekly flights.

Currently, ANA also connects Tokyo and Vienna, flying to the European city from Haneda three times a week. The route was resumed this August.
