During the period with increased service, Asiana Airlines’ existing flights between Seoul Gimpo and Osaka and one of the three roundtrips from Incheon are scheduled to be operated by Airbus A330-300s; the two other existing Incheon rotations are scheduled to be operated by Boeing 777-200LRs. The temporary flights, on the other hand, will be operated by the narrow-body Airbus A321-200 equipped with 162 seats including 12 in business and 150 in economy class.

With over 30 daily flights, Osaka – Seoul is the busiest international city pair out of Osaka. Asiana Airlines competes on the route with Korean Air, which will temporarily expand service in the summer too, as well as with ANA’s low-cost subsidiary Peach and a variety of Korean low-costs including Air Busan, Air Seoul, Jeju Air, Jin Air, Eastar jet, and T’Way.
