In February 2024, both ANA and JAL announced that some of their subsidiaries’ staff cheated on exams that need to be passed in order to drive within Haneda Airport’s secure area. On March 5, 2024, ANA announced it found out some of its ANA Okinawa Airport subsidiary staff cheated on similar exams too.
According to ANA, between April and December 2023, an exam supervisor allowed 11 ANA Okinawa Airport staff members to take their exams with open textbooks.
