ANA starts offering free wi-fi in business class on international flights

ANA Wi-Fi
By the end of this fiscal year, all ANA passengers traveling on wi-fi-equipped aircraft will have free internet access to one extent or another.

ANA started offering free onboard wi-fi to passengers traveling on its international flights in business class yesterday, August 20, 2024.

The service is available onboard its Boeing 777-300ER and select 787, as well as Airbus A380, aircraft. Onboard wi-fi is not available on the airline’s A320neos, 767-300ERs, and 240-seater 787-8s.

Those that are not eligible for free access can pay between $6.95 for a 30-minute plan and $21.95 for a full-flight plan to use the service.

ANA first announced that it would be making wi-fi free for business class passengers from this summer in April 2024. Based on that announcement, free onboard wi-fi limited to texting will become available to premium economy and economy class passengers by the end of March 2025. The airline has been offering free wi-fi to all passengers on domestic flights from April 2018 and international first class passengers since June of the same year.
