ANA to start rolling out free wi-fi on international flights in summer 2024

ANA In-Flight Wi-Fi
International first class passengers and all domestic passengers can already enjoy free in-flight wi-fi onboard ANA.

On April 10, 2024, ANA announced it will start offering free wi-fi on international flights to passengers traveling in business class this summer. The free international wi-fi service will also be expanded to premium economy and economy class passengers by the end of March 2025, albeit only for text messaging.

ANA offers two different pricing plans depending on the aircraft (and the internet service the aircraft is equipped with).

The more restrictive service has three tiers (30 minutes, 1 hour, and full flight) priced between $4.95 and $19.95, and comes with significant data caps (15MB, 30MB, and 100MB for the three tiers). The less restrictive service that ANA is rolling out across more aircraft has three tiers (30 minutes, 3 hours, and full flight) priced between $6.95 and $18.80, and comes with no data caps.

ANA’s international first class passengers have been able to enjoy free in-flight wi-fi since June 2018. In-flight wi-fi on ANA’s domestic flights has been free of charge since April 2018.
