AirJapan, one of ANA’s low-cost brands, started using revenue management service provided by GiXo, the Tokyo-based data analytics company announced on October 29, 2024.

“As this was AirJapan’s first year of operation, the company has been accumulating its own data on passenger numbers, fares, etc., while also considering ways to enhance its revenue management in the medium to long term,” said GiXo’s statement. “Through this collaboration, we aim to enhance AirJapan’s revenue management and maximize its profits by providing support with the collection and analysis of internal and external data and formulating and executing strategies and tactics effective for revenue management,” it continued.

In February 2024, Air Japan launched Tokyo Narita – Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, expanding its operations to include flights under the AirJapan brand in addition to flights operated on behalf of ANA. Since then, AirJapan also added flights from Narita to Seoul and Singapore, all operated by ex-ANA Boeing 787-8s with 324 seats in economy class.
