Today, April 26, 2024, ANA’s low-cost AirJapan launched flights flights between Tokyo Narita and Singapore. The new route is its third after Tokyo Narita to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and Seoul Incheon.

AirJapan’s Singapore flights will operate five times a week as follows:

  • NQ3 / Tokyo Narita – Singapore / 5:35PM – 11:55PM / Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun
  • NQ4* / Singapore – Tokyo Narita / 12:55AM – 9:10AM / Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun

* From April 27, 2024.

The new route is operated by the sole aircraft type in AirJapan’s own fleet (i.e. excluding aircraft Air Japan operates on behalf of ANA), Boeing 787-8. AirJapan’s 787s are in an all-economy class configuration with 324 seats.

With this launch, AirJapan joined five other airlines that operate the same route including two low-costs (JAL’s ZIPAIR and Singapore Airlines’ Scoot) and three full-service airlines (ANA, JAL, and Singapore Airlines). All except for Singapore Airlines connect the two airports once a day. Singapore Airlines does so twice a day with one of the two rotations continuing on to Los Angeles.

Additionally, all three of the full-service airlines also fly between Tokyo Haneda and Singapore. ANA and JAL offer two while Singapore Airlines offers three daily flights.
