Air France will reduce the frequency of its Paris – Osaka Kansai routes from the current five weekly flights to three from one week before the beginning of the 2024 winter schedule until the end of the schedule.

The flights are scheduled to operate every day excluding Mondays and Wednesdays in the direction from Paris and Tuesdays and Thursdays in the other direction until October 13, 2024. The week of October 14, 2024, they will operate four times – excluding Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday in the direction to Japan. The last week of the 2024 summer schedule, they will operate three times on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.

During the 2024 winter schedule, i.e., from October 27, 2024, until March 29, 2025, the timing of the flights will shift slightly and they will operate three times a week as follows:

  • AF292 / Paris Charles de Gaulle – Osaka Kansai / 1:45PM – 10:35AM+1 / Tue, Thu, Sat
  • AF291 / Osaka Kansai – Paris Charles de Gaulle / 12:30PM – 7:00PM / Wed, Fri, Sun

Once the 2025 summer schedule sets in, the flights are scheduled to return back to five rotations a week.

Air France plans to continue to use Airbus A350-900 with 324 seats including 34 in business, 24 in premium economy, and 266 in economy class on the route.

In addition to Osaka Kansai, Air France also currently serves Tokyo Haneda and Narita from the French capital. However, it will suspend the Tokyo Narita route at the end of the 2024 summer schedule.
