While Air China’s existing flights to Tokyo are generally operated by Airbus A330-300 aircraft, the new rotation will be operated by the smaller A330-200. Of the different configurations it operates the aircraft in, Air China appears to be planning to send its 265-seater version with 18 business and 247 economy class seats to Tokyo.
Both ANA and JAL also connect Tokyo Haneda with Beijing Capital. Hainan Airlines is planning to resume the route in September 2024 too, in addition to its flights to Narita. Separately, China Eastern Airlines and China Southern Airlines connect Beijing Daxing with Haneda and Spring Japan recently launched Narita – Beijing.
