Hainan Airlines to resume Beijing – Tokyo Haneda in early September 2024

Hainan Airlines already serves Tokyo Narita four times per week.

Hainan Airlines will resume flights between Beijing Capital and Tokyo Haneda on September 1, 2024. The route will be operated three times a week and combined with the airline’s existing four weekly flights to Narita Airport, Hainan Airlines will serve Tokyo daily.

Once the Haneda route is resumed, Hainan Airlines will offer the following flights between China’s and Japan’s capitals:

  • HU439 / Beijing Capital – Tokyo Narita / 7:20AM – 11:55AM / Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat
  • HU7919 / Beijing Capital – Tokyo Haneda / 9:15PM – 1:30AM+1 / Wed, Fri, Sun
  • HU7920 / Tokyo Haneda – Beijing Capital / 3:00AM – 5:50AM / Mon, Thu, Sat
  • HU440 / Tokyo Narita – Beijing Capital / 1:55PM – 5:05PM / Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat

Like the existing flights from Beijing to Narita, Hainan’s flights to Haneda will be operated using Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 164 seats including eight in business and 156 in economy class.

Currently, the Haneda – Beijing Capital route is served by Air China, ANA, and JAL. Additionally, China Eastern Airlines and China Southern Airlines offer flights from Beijing Daxing. The Narita – Beijing Capital is served by Air China alongside Hainan Airlines. Spring Japan plans to launch the route in August 2024 too.
