Vietnam Airlines will increase the frequency of its Hanoi – Fukuoka route from the current four to five weekly flights starting from the beginning of the 2024 winter schedule. Currently, seats on the additional flights are sold up late March. Whether the increase will continue into the 2025 summer schedule is unclear.

From October 28, 2024, until, for the time being, March 29, 2024, the route will operate as follows:

  • VN356 / Hanoi – Fukuoka / 1:50AM – 7:35AM / Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat
  • VN357 / Fukuoka – Hanoi / 9:35AM – 12:35PM / Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat

Vietnam Airlines uses a mix of Airbus A321ceo and A321neo aircraft on the route. It operates the former in three different configurations, two with 16 and one with eight business class seats. The A321neos are in the latter configuration with eight business and 195 economy class seats for a total of 203 seats.

In addition to Vietnam Airlines, VietJet offers three weekly flights between the two cities. Separately, Vietnam Airlines offers two weekly flights between Ho Chi Minh and Fukuoka.
