Before the pandemic, Vietnam Airlines operated Da Nang – Osaka daily.

While Vietnam Airlines will not resume its currently suspended Da Nang – Osaka Kansai route during the 2024 winter schedule, it will operate two roundtrips on the route during the 2024/2025 New Year’s season, the airline announced on October 2, 2024.

The flights will operate as follows:

  • VN5326 / Da Nang – Osaka Kansai / 2:00AM – 8:05AM / Dec. 30, 2024 and Jan. 3, 2025
  • VN5327 / Osaka Kansai – Da Nang / 9:30AM – 1:00PM / Dec. 30, 2024 and Jan. 3, 2025

Vietnam Airlines will use Airbus A321 aircraft on the route, which it operates in three different configurations: 178 seats (16 in business and 162 in economy), 184 seats (16 in business and 168 in economy), and 203 seats (eight in business and 195 in economy).

Currently, Vietnam Airlines serves Osaka Kansai out of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh, both daily. Prior to the pandemic, it operated the Da Nang – Kansai route, which is currently not served by any airline, daily.
