VietJet will use its A320s on the Kobe charters.

VietJet will be among the first airlines to operate international flights to Kobe Airport. The Vietnamese low-cost airline will operate two roundtrips between Vietnam and Kobe, which will be available for sale as part of both Vietnamese and Japanese tour operators’ packages.

The first roundtrip between the two countries, to be operated on April 30, 2025, will fly from Ho Chi Minh to Kobe before flying back to Da Nang. The second roundtrip, to be operated on May 4, 2025, will run the other way around, flying from Da Nang to Kobe before returning to Ho Chi Minh. Based on marketing materials for tours originating in Japan, the schedule of the Kobe – Da Nang roundtrip is expected to be as follows:

  • Kobe – Da Nang / 10:35AM – 1:35PM / April 30, 2025
  • Da Nang – Kobe / 2:25AM – 9:05AM / May 4, 2025

VietJet plans to use Airbus A320 aircraft with 170 seats on the route.

The flights are planned on the occasion of Kobe Airport completing its international terminal and allowing the operation of international charter flights. In addition to the first two roundtrips, charters between Kobe and Vietnam are also expected to be operated during the 2025 summer holiday and New Year seasons.
