United Airlines to reduce Guam – Nagoya service from May 2024

United uses the 737-800 on its Guam – Nagoya flights.

While United Airlines plans to expand its intra-Pacific network out of Tokyo by adding Guam – Haneda flights and Narita – Cebu flights, it will also reduce its presence in Nagoya. The airline’s flights from Guam to Chubu Airport will operate daily from May 7, 2024, instead of the current 11 times a week.

United will maintain the current daily rotation, which operates as and will continue to operate as follows:

  • UA137 / Guam – Nagoya Chubu / 7:25AM – 10:15AM
  • UA136 / Nagoya Chubu – Guam / 11:30AM – 4:00PM

The airline will terminate the nighttime rotation that currently operates four times a week and will continue to operate until May 6, 2024, as follows:

  • UA171 / Guam – Nagoya Chubu / 5:05PM – 7:55PM / Mon, Wed, Thu, Sun
  • UA172 / Nagoya Chubu – Guam / 8:55PM – 1:25AM+1 / Mon, Wed, Thu, Sun

Both of the flights are operated by United’s 737-800s equipped with 166 seats including 16 in business and 150 in economy class.

United is the only airline offering non-stop flights between Nagoya and Guam.
