Starlux Airlines currently flies between Taipei Taoyuan and Osaka Kansai twice daily, offering economy and business class service on both flights and premium economy on one. From July 1, 2024, the airline will also offer first class on one of the two flights.

The frequency on which first class will be offered, JX822/JX823, will continue to be operated by Airbus A350-900 aircraft equipped with 306 seats including four in first, 26 in business, 36 in premium economy, and 240 in economy class as follows:

  • JX822 / Taipei Taoyuan – Osaka Kansai / 10:15AM – 1:55PM
  • JX823 / Osaka Kansai – Taipei Taoyuan / 3:05PM – 4:50PM

The other frequency, JX820/JX821 will continue to be operated by the airline’s two-class A330-900s with 297 seats including 28 in business and 269 in economy class.

Starlux’s first and business class cabins are not separated by a bulkhead as they usually are on other airlines. However, first class passengers can enjoy more spacious and, thanks to doors, more private seats, alongside improved service including the ability to use the Huan Yu VIP Terminal at Taoyuan Airport.

No other airline offers first class between the two cities.
