Starlux to reduce Taipei Taoyuan – Hakodate from late October 2024

Starlux flies to Hakodate using Airbus A321neo aircraft.

Starlux Airlines will reduce the frequency of its Taipei Taoyuan – Hakodate route from five to three weekly rotations from October 27, 2024. From that point onward, it will suspend Tuesday and Saturday rotations and operate the route as follows:

  • JX860 / Taipei Taoyuan – Hakodate / 12:30PM – 5:00PM / Mon, Wed, Fri
  • JX861 / Hakodate – Taipei Taoyuan / 6:00PM – 9:35PM / Mon, Wed, Fri

It will continue to fly to Hakodate using Airbus A321neo aircraft with 188 seats including eight in business and 180 in economy class.

In addition to Starlux, the low-cost carrier Tigerair Taiwan also operates the route five times a week. It plans to maintain that frequency throughout the winter schedule as well.

Starlux’s Hokkaido network also includes daily flights to Sapporo New Chitose. Separately, it also flies to Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Nagoya Chubu, Naha, Osaka Kansai, Sendai, and Tokyo Narita.
