StarFlyer’s “Touken Ranbu Jet,” an aircraft wearing a livery promoting Touken Ranbu, a collectible card video game that has also been turned into anime and a live-action movie, will end operations on October 10, 2024, the airline announced on its X account last week.

StarFlyer first announced the special livery in February of this year. The aircraft operated its first flight with the decals on April 8, 2024. It was originally scheduled to end operations at the end of September 2024.

In addition to the different exterior, service on the “Touken Ranbu Jet” was modified to include themed cups and announcements as well.

The aircraft, an Airbus A320-200 registered JA24MC, will continue to be used across StarFlyer’s network once the decals are removed.
