StarFlyer to operate 11 Kitakyushu – Taipei charter roundtrips between Jan. and March 2025

Before the pandemic, StarFlyer used to operate scheduled flights between Kitakyushu and Taipei.

Between January 15 and March 5, 2024, StarFlyer will operate 11 charter roundtrips between Kitakyushu and Taipei Taoyuan. Four roundtrips will be operated in January (15, 20, 25, and 30), six in February 3, 8, 13, 18, 23, and 25), and one on March 5, 2025, all with the following schedule:

  • 7G96011 / Kitakyushu – Taipei Taoyuan / 12:20AM – 1:50AM
  • 7G96022 / Taipei Taouyuan – Kitakyushu / 3:00AM – 6:20AM

1 The Kitakyushu – Taipei flight on January 15, 2025, will be a ferry flight operating as 7G9201.
2 The Taipei – Kitakyushu flight on March 5, 2025, will be a ferry flight operating as 7G9202.

StarFlyer will operate the flights StarFlyer did not specify whether it will operate the flights using its 150-seater Airus A320-200s or 162-seater A320neo, both all-economy class aircraft.

According to the airline’s statement, “This charter flight is for passengers departing from Taiwan and will be sold through travel agencies in Taiwan.” While StarFlyer used to operate scheduled flights from Kitakyushu and Nagoya to Taipei before the pandemic, those have not been resumed yet.

With Jin Air’s Seoul route being the only scheduled international route to Kitakyushu at the moment, no other airline connects Kitakyushu with Taipei. That said, China Airlines, EVA Air, Starlux, and Tigerair Taiwan offer flights to the nearby Fukuoka Airport.
