StarFlyer plans 20 Kitakyushu – Muan roundtrips between April and June 2024

StarFlyer A320
While StarFlyer currently does not operate any scheduled international flights, it operates international charters occasionally.

On March 15, 2024, StarFlyer announced it will operate 40 charter flights (20 roundtrips) including ferry flights between Kitakyushu and Muan in South Korea. The airline operated charters on the route in the past as well.

This time around, the charter flights will operate twice a week between April 9 and June 15, 2024, with the following schedule:

  • 7G9611 / Kitakyushu – Muan / 11:50PM – 1:00AM+1 / Tue, Fri
  • 7G9612 / Muan – Kitakyushu / 6:00AM – 7:10AM / Wed, Sat

StarFlyer will use its Airbus A320 aircraft with 150 seats (all in economy class) on the route.

The airline operated charter flights on the route for the first time in September 2013 and did so again in 2014, 2017, and at the end of 2023/beginning of 2024 too. The now-defunct South Korean regional airline Hi Air operated charter flights using ATR turboprops on the route in 2023 too.

Kitakyushu Airport also has a scheduled daily link with South Korea in the form of Jin Air’s flights from Seoul Incheon.
