Spring Airlines to reduce Shanghai – Sapporo service in April – June 2024

Spring Airlines A321neo in Sapporo
While normally Spring Airlines sends A320s to Sapporo, at times it upgauges the flights to the A321.

Between April 1 and June 20, 2024, the Chinese low-cost Spring Airlines will reduce the frequency of its Shanghai Pudong – Sapporo New Chitose route from the current six weekly rotations to three.

During that period, the flights will operate as follows:

  • 9C8791 / Shanghai Pudong – Sapporo New Chitose / 8:20AM – 12:50PM / Wed, Fri, Sun
  • 9C8792 / Shanghai Pudong – Sapporo New Chitose / 1:50PM – 5:00PM / Wed, Fri, Sun

From June 21, 2024, onward, the flights are scheduled to operate daily.

Generally, Spring Airlines uses a mix of A320-200 and A320neo aircraft on the route.

China Eastern Airlines and Juneyao Air connect the two cities too, daily and three times a week respectively.
