Spring Airlines will operate non-stop Xi’an – Ibaraki flights on December 24, 26, and 28, 2024, as follows:
- 9C6295 / Xi’an – Ibaraki / 10:45AM – 4:00PM
- 9C6296 / Ibaraki – Xi’an / 1:00PM – 5:35PM
The airline will operate the route using Airbus A320s with approximately 180 economy class seats (exact number depending on the configuration). Instead of the same aircraft turning around, the return flight will be operated by aircraft operating Spring’s Shanghai – Ibaraki flights, which are expected to resume on December 24, 2024.
Spring Airlines first launched Xi’an – Ibaraki on October 27, 2024, operating the route three times a week until suspending it due to the pandemic at the beginning of February 2020. It is unclear whether the airline plans to resume the route on a seasonal or year-round basis, beyond the three roundtrips it will operate in December 2024, at some point in the near future.
