
Starting on March 31, 2024, the Chinese low-cost Spring Airlines will increase the frequency of its flights between Ningbo and Osaka Kansai from the current three weekly to four weekly. The flights will continue to be operated by Airbus A320-200 aircraft equipped with between 174 and 186 seats depending on the configuration.
The flight schedule will change slightly with the start of the 2024 summer schedule too.
Currently, the flights operate as follows:
- 9C6603 / Ningbo – Osaka Kansai / 12:30PM – 3:50PM / Tue, Thu, Sat
- 9C6604 / Osaka Kansai – Ningbo / 4:55PM – 6:50PM / Tue, Thu, Sat
Starting from March 31, 2024, they will operate as follows:
- 9C6603 / Ningbo – Osaka Kansai / 1:20PM – 4:55PM / Mon, Fri
- 9C6603 / Ningbo – Osaka Kansai / 1:20PM – 5:00PM / Wed, Sun
- 9C6604 / Osaka Kansai – Ningbo / 5:55PM – 7:35PM / Mon, Fri, Sun
- 9C6604 / Osaka Kansai – Ningbo / 5:55PM – 8:00PM / Wed
The route, which was suspended when the pandemic hit, was resumed on July 8, 2023. Initially, it was operated twice a week before being increased to three weekly rotations from November 2, 2023.
No other passenger airline flies non-stop between Osaka Kansai and Ningbo. Other destinations served by Spring Airlines from Kansai Airport include Dalian (daily), Shanghai Pudong (up to four times a day), and Shenyang (three times a week).
