Spring Airlines will terminate its one-stop flights between Guiyang and Osaka Kansai via Shanghai Pudong from the 2024 winter schedule starting on October 27, 2024.

The airline will, however, replace the Shanghai Pudong – Osaka section of the route with a flight operating with the same time using different flight numbers. With that, Spring Airlines will maintain six daily flights between Shanghai and Osaka. It will stop serving Shanghai Pudong – Guiyang, however, offering only flights from Shanghai Hongqiao instead.

Until October 26, 2024, Spring Airlines will continue to operate the one-stop route three times a week as follows:

  • 9C6825 / Guiyang – Shanghai Pudong / 8:30AM – 11:20AM / Tue, Thu, Sat
  • 9C6825 / Shanghai Pudong – Osaka Kansai / 12:35PM – 4:00PM / Tue, Thu, Sat
  • 9C6826 / Osaka Kansai – Shanghai Pudong / 5:00PM – 7:05PM / Tue, Thu, Sat
  • 9C6826 / Shanghai Pudong – Guiyang / 8:30PM – 11:25PM / Tue, Thu, Sat

From October 27, 2024, onward, Spring Airlines’ flights 9C8999 and 9C9000, which currently operate between Shanghai and Osaka on the four days of the week that the Guiyang route does not, will be replaced by a daily rotation operating with essentially the same schedule between Shanghai and Osaka but originating in Lanzhou.

Spring Airlines will continue to serve Osaka Kansai out of Dalian, Ningbo, Shanghai Pudong, Shenyang, and Xian during the 2024 winter schedule.
