On January 10, 2025, Spring Airlines will resume flights between Guangzhou and Fukuoka, which have been suspended since the end of the summer schedule. The route will initially operate twice a week, increasing to three times a week from February 10, 2025:
- 9C6605 / Guangzhou – Fukuoka / 8:35AM – 12:30PM / Mon1, Wed
- 9C6605 / Guangzhou – Fukuoka / 8:00AM – 12:00PM / Fri
- 9C6606 / Fukuoka – Guangzhou / 1:30PM – 4:35PM / Mon1, Wed
- 9C6606 / Fukuoka – Guangzhou / 12:55PM – 4:05PM / Fri
1 Rotation scheduled to operate from February 10, 2025.
For the time being, flights departing until the end of the winter schedule are available for booking. It is unclear whether the route will return to daily operation after that like it did when it first resumed this September.
Spring Airlines will use Airbus A320 aircraft, presumably the A320neo like before the suspension, on the route. Its A320-200s are equipped with between 174 and 186 seats while its A320neos are equipped with 186 seats, all in economy class.
Currently, the airline connects Fukuoka with Shanghai and Dalian. No other airline offers non-stop flights between the Japanese city and Guangzhou.
