Solaseed Air and Hinatazaka46’s second single names partially overlap.

Solaseed Air partnered with the Japanese idol group Nogizaka46, the airline announced on July 17, 2024. On the same day, the airline started using the group’s second single, “Do Re Mi Sol La Si Do” as its boarding music.

The song was released on July 17, 2019, exactly five years before being adopted as Solaseed Air’s boarding music thanks to “Sol La Si Do” being part of its lyrics. It peaked at number one spot in Japan’s Oricon charts and is certified Double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

In addition to changing its boarding music, Solaseed Air will also run other promotions related to the tie-up. Further details of the collaboration will be released in early August 2024.

Solaseed Air operates a fleet of Boeing 737-800s on domestic flights primarily connecting the island of Kyushu with Japan’s other regions.
