On April 15, 2024, Singapore Airlines announced it will add a seasonal, five-weekly Singapore – Sapporo New Chitose route during the 2024 winter schedule. The flights will operate for two months, throughout December 2024 and January 2025.

Singapore Airlines plans to operate the upcoming route with the following schedule:

  • SQ660* / Singapore – Sapporo New Chitose / 11:00PM – 7:30AM+1 / Mon, Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun
  • SQ661** / Sapporo New Chitose – Singapore / 8:55AM – 4:40PM / Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sun

* Scheduled to operate between December 1, 2024, and January 30, 2025.
* Scheduled to operate between December 2, 2024, and January 31, 2025.

Singapore Airlines will use its Airbus A350-900 aircraft in medium-haul configuration on the route. With that, it will offer a total of 303 seats on each flight including 40 in business and 263 in economy class.

While Sapporo already has non-stop connections with Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur in the region, Singapore Airlines will be the only airline to offer non-stop flights between Sapporo and Singapore.
