Shenzhen Airlines to temporarily expand Nanjing – Osaka service in summer 2024

Shenzhen Airlines connects three Chinese cities with Osaka Kansai.

From July 15, 2024, until the end of the 2024 summer schedule (i.e. October 26, 2024), Shenzhen Airlines will operate two daily roundtrips on the Nanjing – Osaka Kansai route instead of the current one.

During the expanded service period, the airline will add a roundtrip departing Shenzhen in the afternoon and connect the two cities as follows:

  • ZH685 / Nanjing – Osaka Kansai / 8:45AM – 12:10PM
  • ZH687* / Osaka Kansai – Nanjing / 3:30PM – 6:55PM
  • ZH686 / Osaka Kansai – Nanjing / 1:10PM – 3:10PM
  • ZH688* / Osaka Kansai – Nanjing / 7:55PM – 9:40PM

* Temporary frequency operated between July 15 and October 26, 2024.

On both rotations, Shenzhen Airlines will use Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 156 seats including eight in business and 148 in economy class.

Nanjing is one of the three airports Shenzhen Airlines serves Osaka Kansai Airport from in addition to offering double daily flights from Wuxi and daily flights from Shenzhen.

On the Nanjing – Osaka Kansai route, it competes with Juneyao Air, which offers two daily flights.
