Scoot to increase Singapore – Taipei – Tokyo between Dec. 2024 and late Jan. 2025

Scoot will increase the frequency of its Singapore – Tokyo Narita via Taipei Taoyuan route from the current 12 weekly to double daily between December 1, 2024, and January 28, 2025. The airline will also continue to operate a daily non-stop rotation between Singapore and Narita.

During the above period, Scoot will operate the flights departing Singapore in the morning (TR874/TR875) on Wednesdays and Sundays in addition to the flights’ existing five weekly rotations:

  • TR898 / Singapore – Taipei Taoyuan / 1:00AM – 5:35AM
  • TR898 / Taipei Taoyuan – Tokyo Narita / 6:40AM – 10:45AM
  • TR874 / Singapore – Taipei Taoyuan / 8:55AM – 1:40PM
  • TR874 / Taipei Taoyuan – Tokyo Narita / 2:50PM* – 7:00PM
  • TR899 / Tokyo Narita – Taipei Taoyuan / 11:45AM – 3:10PM
  • TR899 / Taipei Taoyuan – Singapore / 4:10PM – 8:55PM
  • TR875 / Tokyo Narita – Taipei Taoyuan / 8:00PM – 11:20PM**
  • TR875 / Taipei Taoyuan – Singapore / 12:20AM+1 – 5:05AM+1***

* Departs at 2:40PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays and 3:00PM on Sundays.
** Arrives at 11:15PM on Thursdays.
*** Arrives at 4:55AM on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Scoot will continue to operate the existing daily one-stop rotation, as well as the non-stop rotation between Singapore and Narita using Boeing 787-9s with 375 seats including 35 ScootPlus premium economy and 340 economy class seats. The rotation that will see frequency increase will continue to be operated by the airline’s single-class Airbus A321neos equipped with 236 economy class seats.

On the fifth freedom portion between Taipei and Narita, Scoot competes with a variety of airlines including JAL, Jetstar Japan, Peach, China Airlines, EVA Air, Starlux, Tigerair Taiwan, Cathay Pacific, and Thai Lion Air.
