Qatar Airways to increase Doha – Tokyo Narita to double daily from early July 2025

Qatar Airways is the only airline operating Doha – Tokyo Narita.

Qatar Airways will increase its service between Doha and Tokyo Narita to double daily. The airline currently operates the route daily, however, it plans to add another rotation, QR808/QR809, on February 14, 2025. While initially, it will operate four times a day for a total of 11 weekly flights on the route, the new rotation will operate daily from July 3, 2025.

Once the second rotation’s schedule is expanded, Qatar Airways will connect the two cities as follows:

  • QR806 / Doha – Tokyo Narita / 2:35AM – 6:55PM
  • QR8081 / Doha – Tokyo Narita / 8:15PM – 12:35PM+1
  • QR8091 / Tokyo Narita – Doha / 5:25PM – 11:05PM
  • QR807 / Tokyo Narita – Doha / 10:30PM – 4:05AM+1

1 Rotation starting from February 14, 2025, in the direction from Doha and a day later in the other direction. Operating on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays in the direction from Doha and a day later in the other direction until the start of daily service.

In addition to Qatar Airways offering flights between Doha and Tokyo Narita, JAL serves Qatar’s capital from Tokyo Haneda daily. Until JAL launched the route on April 1, 2024, Qatar Airways served both Narita and Haneda.

Qatar Airways also offers daily flights between Doha and Osaka Kansai.
