Lufthansa to turn Munich – Osaka Kansai daily in late April 2024

Lufthansa flies the A350-900 to Osaka.

Currently, Lufthansa operates five weekly flights between Munich and Osaka Kansai. From April 27, 2024, the airline will add two extra weekly rotations to turn the route daily.

The route will operate as follows:

  • LH742* / Munich – Osaka Kansai / 11:55AM – 6:55AM+1
  • LH743** / Osaka Kansai – Munich / 9:30AM – 4:45PM

* Excluding Tuesdays and Sundays until April 26, 2024.
** Excluding Mondays and Wednesdays until April 26, 2024.

Lufthansa will continue to use Airbus A350-900 aircraft with 293 seats including 48 in business, 21 in premium economy, and 224 in economy class on the route. It is the only airline to offer non-stop flights between Osaka and Germany.

In addition to the Munich – Osaka route, Lufthansa also serves Tokyo Haneda from both Munich and Frankfurt. In the past, it also served Nagoya from Frankfurt, however, that route is currently suspended with no estimated resumption date.
