Lufthansa uses the 747-8 on its flights between Frankfurt and Tokyo.

As flagged by AeroRoutes, Lufthansa filed changes to its 2024 winter schedule, reducing Frankfurt – Tokyo Haneda frequency in December 2024 and January 2025.

Between December 23, 2024, and January 19, 2025, (in the direction to Japan) the Frankfurt – Tokyo Haneda route will operate six times a week instead of the current daily. For two weeks starting on January 20, 2025, the frequency will be reduced further to just five times a week before returning to daily from the week of February 3, 2024.

Lufthansa will continue to use the Boeing 747-8 on the route.

ANA will continue to operate two daily flights on the route throughout Lufthansa’s reduced schedule period.
