Loong Airlines will launch flights between Xian and Fukuoka on December 17, 2024. The route will operate three times a week as follows:

  • GJ6059 / Xian – Fukuoka / 8:45AM – 12:55PM / Tue, Thu, Sat
  • GJ6060 / Fukuoka – Xian / 1:55PM – 5:00PM / Tue, Thu, Sat

The airline plans to use Airbus A320 aircraft on the route. Loong Airlines operates both A320-200s and A320neos, mainly with 174 economy class seats.

Currently, no airline serves the route. While China Eastern, and China Northwest Airlines before the two’s merger, used to offer Xian – Fukuoka via Qingdao route between February 1998 and January 2006, this will be the first time for the two cities to be connected non-stop.

Loong Airlines’ existing Japan network includes Wenzhou – Tokyo Narita and Hangzhou – Osaka Kansai. The airline will also launch Linyi – Narita on December 16, 2024.
