Korean Air will use the 737-800 on the charter flights.

Between April and June 2024, Korean Air will operate charter flights between Seoul Incheon and Toyama for the first time. In May 2024, it will also operate flights between Seoul Incheon and Nanki-Shirahama.

In total, Korean Air plans to operate 17 roundtrips to Toyama between April 12 and June 7, 2024. The flights will operate with the following schedule:

  • KE9715 / Seoul Incheon – Toyama / 11:50AM – 1:35PM
  • KE9716 / Toyama – Seoul Incheon / 2:40PM – 5:05PM

The flights will operate on the following days:

  • April 2024: 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, and 29
  • May 2024: 3, 7, 10, 14, 17, 21, 24, 28, and 31
  • June 2024: 4 and 7

There are no regularly scheduled flights between the two airports and, as mentioned above, this will be the first time for Korean Air to operate to Toyama.

Nanki-Shirahama, on the other hand, received a handful of Korean Air charter flights earlier this year. This time around, Korena Air will operate six roundtrips on May 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 21 as follows:

  • KE9733 / Seoul Incheon – Nanki-Shirahama / 8:35AM – 10:40AM
  • KE9734 / Nanki-Shirahama – Seoul Incheon / 11:55AM – 2:25PM

On both of the routes, Korean Air will use its Boeing 737-800s with 138 seats including 12 in business and 126 in economy class. Both routes will be operated solely for participants of Korean tours. As such, the first flight from Toyama and Nanki-Shirahama and the last flight to Seoul from both destinations will operate empty as ferry flights.
