During the winter schedule, Korean Air will operate the flights using Airbus A321neos.

Between October 27, 2024, and March 30, 2025, Korean Air will increase the frequency of its Seoul Incheon – Kagoshima route from the current five weekly to daily.

Once Korean Air adds flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays to those on the remaining days of the week, the airline will operate the route as follows:

  • KE785 / Seoul Incheon – Kagoshima / 8:45AM – 10:20AM
  • KE786 / Kagoshima – Seoul Incheon / 11:30AM – 1:15PM

For the time being, the frequency is scheduled to reduce to three weekly once the 2025 summer schedule sets in, with flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

During the winter schedule, Korean Air plans to operate the route using Airbus A321neo aircraft with 182 seats including eight in business and 174 in economy class instead of the current mix of different Boeing 737 variants. The route is scheduled to be operated by the 737 again during the 2025 summer schedule.

Korean Air operates the Seoul – Kagoshima route alongside Jeju Air, which offers three flights a week.
