Starting from October 27, 2024, Korean Air will increase the frequency of its Seoul Incheon – Fukuoka route from the current three daily flights to four.
Once the airline adds a late morning departure out of Seoul, it will offer the following flights between the cities:
- KE787 / Seoul Incheon – Fukuoka / 8:00AM – 9:20AM
- KE791* / Seoul Incheon – Fukuoka / 10:50AM – 12:30PM
- KE781 / Seoul Incheon – Fukuoka / 1:10PM – 2:40PM
- KE787 / Seoul Incheon – Fukuoka / 6:40PM – 8:05PM
- KE788 / Fukuoka – Seoul Incheon / 10:30AM – 12:00PM
- KE792* / Fukuoka – Seoul Incheon / 1:45PM – 3:10PM
- KE782 / Fukuoka – Seoul Incheon / 3:50PM – 5:20PM
- KE788 / Fukuoka – Seoul Incheon / 9:05PM – 10:35PM
* New rotation to be operated from October 27, 2024. For the time being, scheduled until the end of the 2024 winter schedule.
Korean Air plans to operate the new rotation using Airbus A330-300 aircraft with 284 seats including 24 in business and 260 in economy class. The remaining three rotations are scheduled to be operated using Boeing 777s and 737s and Airbus A321neos.
Asiana Airlines, as well as a variety of South Korean low-costs including Jeju Air, Eastar Jet, Air Seoul, T’Way, Jin Air, Air Busan, compete on the route with Korean Air.
In addition to the route from Seoul, Korean Air also serves Fukuoka twice a day from Busan.
