
Starting from March 30, 2025, in the direction to Japan and a day later in the other direction, KLM will increase the frequency of its Amsterdam – Osaka Kansai flights from the current three weekly flights to five.
The airline will add Saturday and Sunday flights out of Amsterdam (Sunday and Monday out of Osaka) and operate the route as follows:
- KL867 / Amsterdam – Osaka Kansai / 2:40PM – 10:20AM+1 / Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat*, Sun*
- KL868 / Osaka Kansai – Amsterdam / 12:00PM – 7:15PM / Mon**, Tue**, Thu, Sat, Sun

KLM will continue to operate the route using Boeing 787-9 aircraft with 275 seats including 30 in business, 21 in premium economy, and 224 in economy class.
It is the only airline connecting Osaka Kansai with Amsterdam. Other airlines connecting the Japanese airport with Europe include Air France (Paris Charles de Gaulle), Finnair (Helsinki), and Lufthansa (Munich).
Separately, KLM flies between Amsterdam and Tokyo Narita daily.
