On June 28, 2024, operator of the Kansai area’s three airports Kansai Airports announced Juneyao Air will launch flights from Wuxi to Osaka Kansai from July 1, 2024. The flights will operate daily with the following schedule:
- HO1643 / Wuxi – Osaka Kansai / 11:45AM – 3:30PM
- HO1644 / Osaka Kansai – Wuxi / 4:30PM – 6:15PM
Juneyao Air will use Airbus A320neo aircraft with a total of 164 seats including eight in business and 156 in economy class on the flights.
The airline already operates an extensive network of flights to Osaka Kansai, connecting the airport with Nanjing and Beijing Daxing, as well as with Haikou via Shanghai Pudong.
Juneyao Air will compete on the Wuxi – Osaka route with Shenzhen Airlines, which already offers double daily flights operated by Boeing 737-800s.
