Juneyao Air to relaunch Shanghai Pudong – Fukuoka in mid-January 2025

Juneyao Air will operate the Shanghai – Fukuoka route using Airbus A320s.

Juneyao Air will launch flights between Shanghai Pudong and Fukuoka on January 20, 2025. The flights will operate four times a week as follows:

  • HO1393 / Shanghai Pudong – Fukuoka / 2:10PM – 5:00PM / Mon, Wed, Thu, Sun
  • HO1394 / Fukuoka – Shanghai Pudong / 5:55PM* – 7:00PM / Mon, Wed, Thu, Sun

* On Thursdays, the flight is scheduled to depart Fukuoka five minutes later, at 6:00PM.

Juneyao Air plans to use Airbus A320 aircraft, which it operates with 164 seats including eight in business and 156 in economy class, on the route.

The Shanghai – Fukuoka route is already served by three other airliners. China Eastern offers three daily flights, Air China offers five weekly flights, and the Chinese low-cost Spring Airlines offers daily flights. Juneyao Air previously served the route until early 2017.

Juneyao Air already offers an extensive network of flights between Shanghai and Japan, serving Sapporo New Chitose, Tokyo Narita and Haneda, Nagoya Chubu, and Osaka Kansai. It also offers flights to other destinations in China from Narita, Chubu, and Kansai.
