
Jin Air launched Seoul Incheon – Takamatsu route today, July 18, 2024. The airline will operate daily flights between the two cities alongside Air Seoul which offers daily flights too.
The first flight, which arrived just under an hour behind schedule and was operated by a Boeing 737-800 registered HL8246, was welcomed at the airport with a water salute. According to a report by Setonaikai Broadcasting Corporation, the first flight was nearly full and the airline has so far sold 87% of the seats available on the route this month.
Until September 18, 2024, the route will operate as follows:
- LJ359 / Seoul Incheon – Takamatsu / 8:35AM – 10:05AM
- LJ360 / Takamatsu – Seoul Incheon / 11:00AM – 12:50PM
The schedule will shift and the flights will depart Seoul in the afternoon from September 19, 2024, until October 26, 2024 (the winter schedule has not been announced yet):
- LJ359 / Seoul Incheon – Takamatsu / 12:05PM – 1:30PM
- LJ360 / Takamatsu – Seoul Incheon / 2:30PM – 4:20PM
Being scheduled to operate using the 737-800 going forward as well, Jin Air plans to offer 189 seats (all economy class) on each flight between Seoul and Takamatsu.
Takamatsu is the first airport in Shikoku to be served by two international airlines from the same city. It is Jin Air’s ninth destination in Japan.
