From the start of the 2024 winter schedule, i.e. October 27, 2024, JAL will operate its Tokyo Narita – Jakarta route 13 times a week instead of the current 11. To do so, the airline will increase the frequency of its rotation that leaves Narita in the afternoon from the current four to six times a week.

Once the increase takes effect, JAL will offer the following flights between the two cities:

  • JL725 / Tokyo Narita – Jakarta / 10:50AM – 4:55PM
  • JL729 / Tokyo Narita – Jakarta / 5:50PM – 11:55PM / Mon, Tue*, Wed, Thu, Fri*, Sat
  • JL720 / Jakarta – Tokyo Narita / 6:35AM – 3:50PM / Tue, Wed*, Thu, Fri, Sat*, Sun
  • JL726 / Jakarta – Tokyo Narita / 9:25PM – 6:40AM+1

* Available from October 27, 2024, in the direction from Tokyo and a day later in the other direction.

JAL will use a mix of Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft on the rotation that will see frequency increase. The daily rotation will be operated using the larger 787-9.

In addition to JAL’s flights from Narita, ANA and Garuda Indonesia also offer flights from Tokyo Haneda to Jakarta.
