JAL will reopen Sakura Lounge Hale, its lounge at Honolulu Airport, on August 22, 2024, the airline announced earlier this month.
The lounge, first opened on August 18, 2018, and has been closed since March 18, 2020, due to the pandemic. Throughout that period, JAL continue to operate its main Sakura Lounge at the airport.
Sakura Lounge Hale is located airside near gate C1 and will be open each day from three hours before JAL’s first scheduled departure out of Honolulu until 30 minutes before the airline’s last departure out of the airport. It can be used free of charge by the same groups of passengers, including oneworld frequent flyer status holders, oneworld first and business class passengers, and JAL premium economy and full-fare economy class passengers, as the main lounge.
