With two A350-1000s in its fleet now, JAL will start sending its new flagship to New York JFK daily from February 2, 2024. The aircraft will be deployed on flights JL6/JL5, one of the airline’s two daily rotations between the two cities. The type’s inaugural is planned for January 24, 2024, and from then until going daily, the A350-1000 will operate the route every other day.
