JAL to operate Narita – Kona in July and August 2024

Between July 22 and August 19, 2024, in the direction from Japan and a day later in the other direction, JAL will offer non-stop flights between Tokyo Narita and Kona in Hawaii. The flights will operate four times a week using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.

The seasonal flights will operate with the following schedule:

  • JL770 / Tokyo Narita – Kona / 9:00PM – 10:05AM / Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat
  • JL779 / Kona – Tokyo Narita / 1:10PM – 4:35PM+1 / Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat

The flight to Kona will not operate on July 23, 2024, and the flight to Tokyo Narita will not operate on August 19, 2024.

JAL will offer 199 seats on each flight including 24 in business class and 175 in economy class.

While Hawaiian Airlines currently operates one weekly flight between Tokyo Haneda and Kona, it will be discontinued at the end of March 2024. There is currently no non-stop connection between Narita and Kona. That said, JAL operates flights to Honolulu from Tokyo Haneda, Tokyo Narita, Osaka Kansai, and Nagoya Chubu.
