Currently, JAL uses the 767-300ERs on the double daily Tokyo Haneda – Ishigaki route. The airline will upgauge the flights to the 787-8 with 291 seats throughout August 2024. Both of the types are in a three-class configuration with first class, Class J, and economy class seats. That said, the 787-8 is equipped with newer seat models in all classes and thus provides an improved passenger experience.
