During the 2024 winter schedule, JAL Cargo will increase its Tokyo Narita – Dalian route from the current one weekly rotation to two and decrease Tokyo Narita – Tianjin from the current five weekly rotations to four. It is unclear whether the adjusted frequencies will be maintained into the 2025 summer schedule.

Between October 27, 2024, and March 29, 2025, for the time being the, JAL Cargo will not operate the Tokyo Narita – Dalian route on Fridays. The route will continue to operate on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

On the Tokyo Narita – Tianjin route, the airline will add Friday in addition to the existing Tuesday rotations.

JAL Cargo will continue to operate its other routes with the same frequencies during the 2024 winter schedule as it is now:

  • Tokyo Narita – Taipei Taoyuan – Nagoya Chubu – Seoul Incheon – Tokyo Narita (5x week)
  • Tokyo Narita – Nagoya Chubu – Shanghai Pudong – Tokyo Narita (5x week)
  • Tokyo Narita – Shanghai Pudong (2x week)
  • Tokyo Narita – Hong Kong (1x week)

JAL Cargo uses a fleet of converted Boeing 767-300ER freighters that were in passenger service with JAL in the past. It restarted dedicated cargo operations in February of this year after a more than 13-year pause.
