Hawaiian Airlines will give up one daily Tokyo Haneda slot at the beginning of April 2024, including four weekly slots from Honolulu and three from Kona. This comes as the airline is finding it difficult to use those slots profitably amid the weak Japanese yen. The change will also mean that Haneda will lose its currently only non-stop link with Kona. The airline will continue to serve Haneda from Honolulu using its remaining slots.
