
Hainan Airlines will launch flights between Xian and Sapporo New Chitose on December 27, 2024. For the time being, the flights are scheduled to operate twice a week until the end of the winter schedule as follows:
- HU485 / Xian – Sapporo New Chitose / 7:00AM – 12:40PM / Mon, Fri
- HU486 / Sapporo New Chitose – Xian / 1:45PM – 6:40PM / Mon, Fri
The airline will use Boeing 737-800s with both business and economy class on the route. It operates the type with between 158 and 164 total seats including eight business class seats.
With there being no flights on the route at this point, Xian will become the fourth Chinese city with non-stop connection with Sapporo. The city in Hokkaido is also served from Beijing by Air China; Shanghai by China Eastern Airlines, Spring Airlines, and Juneyao Air; and Shenzhen by Shenzhen Airlines.
