Hainan Airlines to launch Haikou – Tokyo Narita in early February 2025

Hainan Airlines will use Boeing 737-800s on the new route.

Hainan Airlines will launch flights between Haikou and Tokyo Narita on February 3, 2025. The route will operate once a week as follows:

  • HU791 / Haikou – Tokyo Narita / 7:55AM – 1:30PM / Mon
  • HU792 / Tokyo Narita – Haikou / 2:35PM – 8:15PM / Mon

The airline plans to use two-class Boeing 737-800s on the route, which it operates with 164 and 170 seats depending on configuration. Both are equipped with eight business class seats, with the former having 156 and the latter 162 economy class seats.

There are currently no non-stop flights between Haikou and Japan.

Hainan Airlines currently serves Tokyo Narita out of Beijing Capital and Xian.
