On October 9 and 11, Fuji Dream Airlines will operate charter flights between Tokyo Narita Airport and Oki Airport on Dogo Island in Shimane Prefecture. The flights will be operated on behalf of Japan’s tour operator H.I.S., which will run a three day tour from Tokyo to Oki Islands.
The revenue flights will operate as follows (times are approximate):
- Tokyo Narita – Oki / 11:20AM – 1:15PM / October 9, 2024
- Oki – Tokyo Narita / 3:50PM – 5:35PM / October 11, 2024
Fuji Dream Airlines will use one of the two types of aircraft in its fleet – Embraer E170 (76 seats) or E175 (84 seats) – on the route.
Since the airline does not offer scheduled flights to and from Tokyo Narita Airport, the aircraft will have to be ferried to and from Tokyo to operate the charters. The details of the ferry flights are unknown.
There are no non-stop flights between Tokyo Narita (or Tokyo Haneda) and Oki. Those wishing to fly to the airport need to take JAL flights from Izumo (ATR 42 operated by Japan Air Commuter) or Osaka Itami (E170 operated by J-Air).
