EVA Air to increase Taipei – Sapporo to double daily in November and December 2024

The extra flights between Taipei and Sapporo will be operated using Airbus A321 aircraft.

Between November 1 and December 31, 2024, EVA Air will increase service between Taipei Taoyuan and Sapporo New Chitose from daily to double daily.

During that period of time, the route will operate as follows:

  • BR166* / Taipei Taoyuan – Sapporo New Chitose / 6:15AM – 11:00AM
  • BR116 / Taipei Taoyuan – Sapporo New Chitose / 9:30AM – 2:05PM
  • BR165* / Sapporo New Chitose – Taipei Taoyuan / 12:10PM – 4:05PM
  • BR115 / Sapporo New Chitose – Taipei Taoyuan / 3:20Pm – 7:05PM

* Temporary frequency operating in November and December 2024.

While the increased schedule will be in effect, EVA Air will use Boeing 787-10 aircraft with 342 seats including 34 in business and 308 in economy class on the existing BR116/BR115 rotation. It will use Airbus A321s with 184 seats including eight in business and 176 in economy class on the temporary BR166/BR165 rotation. With that, it will offer 526 daily seats each way between the two cities.

Before and after that period, the BR116/BR115 rotation is scheduled to be operated by Airbus A330-300 aircraft with 309 seats including 30 in business and 279 in economy class.

Four other airlines connect Sapporo and Taipei non-stop. China Airlines, Starlux Airlines, and Tigerair Taiwan offer daily flights while Scoot offers four weekly flights.
